MOHAMMED KHAKU

The Ziyarat was an Awesome, and Incredible Journey, which words cannot describe.

Three months have gone by since I left Iran and returned home, but I cannot stop talking or writing about all the sights and wonderful places we visited.

My children, friends, and of course my co-workers were asking How’s our pilgrimage (Ziyarat) and if I enjoy it?

I told them; it has been a wonderful experience. Looking forward to another pilgrimage (Iraq) soon, if the call comes.

My experience on this pilgrimage was one of spiritual upliftment and rejuvenation. This pilgrimage helped me re-center my life around God (Allah) rather than consumerism or materialism.

I am genuinely touched by the most inspiring Ziyarat I have ever experienced. When I am asked about our trip, I tell them I am truly unable to put it into words.

I can hardly find words to tell you how incredible and wonderful our pilgrimage (Ziyarat) to Iran was.

It was spiritual, as I had hoped, and awakening, as you predicted. From beginning to end, our Ziyarat was certainly a rich spiritual journey.

My lovely, humble, kind hearted, and courteous wife added greatly to my joy and happiness with the Ziyarat and a vacation.

Once you arrive, we need to pause, reflect, and reevaluate what is truly most important to our hearts. It was a memorable, educational, and inspiring journey.

It was so moving and unbelievable to walk through the courtyards and reach the mausoleum of Imam Reza, Masoumeh-e-Qum, and Holy Mosque of Jamkaran.

This Ziyarat gave me a deeper awareness of fake news, sanctions, and hatred of the leadership of Iran.

It was a fabulous journey with wonderful memories! The sights were lovely, the hotel were 4 to 5-star, and the food was delicious and amazing.

I tend to get wrapped up in day-to-day affairs – work, This trip has reawakened my faith. I am now taking time to focus on my daily prayers, and even occasionally get up for my nightly prayers.

What a blessing! This Ziyarat was filled with overwhelming emotions and spiritual rejuvenation.

The wonderful spiritual experience for me was daily congregation prayers where thousands prayed shoulder to shoulder with beautiful recitations and, so pleasing to the ears and heart.

The best part of the Ziyarat:

The best part of the whole trip was that we enjoyed the people (Iranians), other pilgrims, hotel staff, shopkeepers, taxi drivers, and staff at the mausoleum and museums.

There were profound moments which are unexplainable in words. But the best, and many highlights were visiting the Ebrat Museum, mausoleum, shrines, mosques, and houses of Imam Khomeini and Mutahhari.

This spiritual journey holds a special place in my heart. I have only had positive things to say about my trip. The scenery in all the places were spectacular and magnificent.

I comprehended the lifestyle and spirituality of Ayatollah Khomeini, Motahari, our beloved 8th Imam, and Masoumeh-e-Qum who have touched millions of pilgrims.

We were lucky enough to see the complete re-enactment of coming on camels from Baitul-Noor to the Shrine of the Masoumeh-e-Qum. Refer to the booklet coming out soon.

Being at the Holy Shrine most of all is something I will never forget. I felt welcomed and embraced in the arms of Imam Reza.

I would recommend this Ziyarat to see, feel, hear, and touch the mystical love of the Iranian people and the

personalities of shrines we visited.

The Ziyarat provided me the opportunity to deepen my faith while enjoying beautiful sightseeing places such as mosques, Ebrat prison and museums. I love the country and plan to return someday
