New Muslim Woman: Studying the Life of Imam Hussein (AS) Made Me a Muslim

This newly converted Muslim woman emphasized the need to never underestimate the sacred goals for the religion and the Shia faith and stressed cultural and promotional activities by the people and seminarians.

According to Rahyafte(the missionaries and converts website):“Camila Celestino”: Investigating the life of Imam Hussein (AS) and studying about the religion of Islam played a significant role in my inclination towards the school of Islam and Shia.

She stated that she came to Iran through acquaintance with a religious preacher and is continuing her studies in the Qom Seminary. She said, “I got married to a faithful Iranian youth in Qom and am leading a good life in Iran.”

She has been a Muslim and Shia for 6 years, living in Iran for 2 years now. She, along with her husband, enjoys a good life and is engaged in the study of seminary sciences. She mentioned that one of the conditions for her marriage in Iran was promoting the religion of Islam in Portuguese and expanding cultural and religious activities to promote divine teachings among others.

She stated, “To promote the religion of Islam, we must make use of all opportunities and situations, especially by studying the biographies of the Imams (AS), even more than in the past, even in the virtual space.”
