According to rahyafteha(the missionaries and converts website):The Aq Baqit public fund organized the contest in cooperation with Kyrgyzstan’s Muslims religious affairs department and the Iranian Cultural Center in the Central Asian country.
Winners were awarded at the closing ceremony held at Iman Mosque in the capital Bishkek, according to the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization.
Kyrgyzstan Deputy Mufti Samidin kary Atabaev and Iranian Cultural Attaché Abuzar Toghani were special guests of the ceremony.
The contest featured Muslim women posting a one-to-two-minute videos on their Instagram page on the themes of “Hijab in Your Life” and “Muslim Women’s Duties in Our Religion”.
More than 200 videos on these two themes were posted in the Kyrgyz languages over a period of one month, ten of which were selected and awarded by a panel of judges.
The competition was aimed at promoting the Islamic style of life.
Kyrgyzstan is a landlocked country with mountainous terrain in Central Asia. It is bordered by Kazakhstan to the north, Uzbekistan to the west and southwest, Tajikistan to the southwest and China to the east.
Official sources estimate that 80 percent of the country’s population is Muslim.
