According to rahyafte (the missionaries and converts website):The Swedish Equality Ombudsman said in a statement that the woman, who suffered from neck pain, went to a health center in the city of Uppsala, where a doctor told her to take off her headscarf, according to TRT on Tuesday.
The woman reported the incident to the ombudsman on March 22, 2023, and the ombudsman ruled that the Uppsala Municipality, which runs the health center, should pay her the compensation on the grounds of “religious discrimination”
The Uppsala Municipality declined to comment on the decision.
