Receiving God’s Limitless Mercy in Final Days of Ramadan

At these hours that we approach the end of the blessed month of Ramadan, we should pray to God to bestow us His limitless mercy.

According to Rahyafte(the missionaries and converts website):One of the things that we can ask God during these last moments of Ramadan is divine mercy that we can enjoy for the rest of the year.

In the supplication dedicated to day 29 of Ramadan, we read: “O Allah, on this day, cover me with Your mercy, grant me in it success and protection, purify my heart from the darkness of false accusations, O the Merciful to His believing servants.”

We ask God Almighty to cover us with His mercy because if He wishes to grant someone something, nothing can stop this blessing. On the other hand, if God Almighty wishes to deprive someone of His mercy then no other power is able to intervene.

Taking steps in obeying God is a success that Allah Almighty bestows on His servants. Humans cannot carry out any deed unless God bestows them the power to do so. God is the Creator of all creatures and is Able to do anything.

There are some instructions that can help us abandon sins; these include controlling one’s eyes and ears and staying away from bad friends. Also, to get rid of thinking about sins, one can prepare daily plans, fast, exercise, and think about death.

God’s mercy can be divided into two categories: special and public. Public mercy is bestowed on all creatures, even sinful humans; these include the blessing of living. However, God’s special mercy is exclusively for the righteous. This mercy includes living a life based on God’s path and arriving at Paradise.
