‘Quran and Its Approximate Translation’ Published in German

German rendering of a book titled “Quran and Its Approximate Translation” was published by the Islamic Library of Germany.

According to rahyafte (the missionaries and converts website): According to the Iranian Cultural Center in Germany, Abu-r-Rida Muhammad Ibn Ahmad Ibn Rassoul has translated the book into the German language.

He is an Egyptian-German researcher and expert in Fiqh (jurisprudence) who has written and translated many books on Islamic topics.

The preface of the book says that Muslims believe that Quran is the Word of God revealed to Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), the last messenger of God.

It continues that according to the verse 3 of Surah Al Imran which says: “It is He Who has sent down the Book (the Qur’an) to you (Muhammad (PBUH)) with truth, confirming what came before it. And He sent down the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)”, Muslims believe that the books of the three divine religions, Judaism, Christianity and Islam were sent by God to Prophet Muses (AS), Jesus (AS) and Mohammad (PBUH).

The author of the book notes that it is also believed by Muslims that the Taurat and Injeel have been distorted by people throughout history for their own benefits, as it is mentioned in Surah Baqarah (verse 75) of the Holy Quran: “Do you hope, [O believers], that they would believe for you while a party of them used to hear the words of Allah and then distort the Torah after they had understood it while they were knowing?”.

“Quran and Its Approximate Translation” has been published in 554 pages.
