Then he came to Iran and said his Shahadah in June 2018. He believes that the religion of Islam is the best way of human life.

Brother Anton! Rahyafte Team (related to Edoardo Agnelli Islamic Association) appreciates you for agreeing to hold an interview and also for the time you allocated to us.

Would you please give us a biography of yourself?

I was born in Saint-Petersburg, Russia. My family was Christian so was I. When I finished the school, I wanted to become a doctor but I wasn’t good enough in chemistry so I went to become policeman. At 16, my carrier in police started. I studied in police academy but I was already a real policeman.

After some time I realized that this kind of work is not for me so then I quit the job.

After that I couldn’t find myself for a long time, I tried many different jobs and once I realized that I can be some sort of doctor and help people without medical education. And I became fitness trainer.

Until that moment I worked as a fitness trainer and I had my own professional equipments for EMS workouts.

What was your religion before converting to Islam?

Before Islam I was Christian but it was never my choice.

How did you become familiar with Islam?

It’s another part of the story of my life. I became familiar with Islam (real Islam, not TV brainwash) after I met my wife. She is an Iranian student in Russia.

What specifically attracted you to Islam?

All my life I had a feeling that people around me do something wrong. And when I started reading the Holy Quran, I got the feeling that it’s the way people should live.

What was your family’s reaction after you became a Muslim?

When I said this to my mom she wasn’t too much happy and still we don’t speake.

How do you see the spread of Islam in your country?

Most of Muslims in my country are different from what I saw in Iran.

What is the most beautiful Ayah of the Quran in your opinion? And why?

I like surah 5 ayat 32, I can’t say it’s most beautiful, but I always remember this one because it’s very important to help another people no matter who they are.

What’s your opinion about hijab? Do you think it is only dedicated to women?

Hijab is so important for women and also for men. I don’t think it should be some very special clothes. It’s just important to cover some parts of body. But you can’t force people, they should understand by themselves. In some societies people don’t like hijab and by wearing it Muslims provoke people. For this I think, Muslims should explain more about themselves. I like Iranian Muslims, they wear hijab and it looks organic to me. But some Arabian Muslims wear this dark full hijab in Europe and people afraid then because they can’t understand.

What was your feeling when you prayed for the first time?

It was unusually to me.

How do you analyze women’s right in Islam compared to what the West has propagated?

As far as I can see, when I was in Iran for 3 months, the women in there have the same rights as men. For sure there is some jobs that women can’t be accepted but I think these rules are fair. As to propaganda it’s very different of course.

As a convert, what way of inviting to Islam you believe is more effective on non-Muslims?

Now in age of internet, the best way to explain about something is using it. We should show the real image of Islam to people and in the same time we should improve ourselves.

Thank you very much for your attention. May Allah bless you and keep you strong and firm on this true path.
