Children’s Book About Life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) Published in Sri Lanka

An originally Persian book titled “Stories As Sweet As Honey”, which tells the story of Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) life for children in a simple language, has been translated into Sinhala and published in Sri Lanka.

According to Rahyafte(the missionaries and converts website)The book has been published with the efforts of the Iranian cultural office in Sri Lanka and the Center for Organizing the Translation and Publication of Islamic Teachings and Human Sciences.

Shokuh Ghasemnia is the author of the book which has been illustrated by Mohammad Ali Bani-Asadi.

The book tells the story of the early life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) until the start of his prophethood.

“Stories as sweet as honey” gives brief information about the history of early Islam as well as the characteristic of Islam’s Prophet (PBUH).

The book has been translated into Sinhala by Fatemeh Sheifani and published by Wisdom Society Publication in 1,000 copies.

Muslims comprise some 10% of Sri Lanka’s 22 million population.
