Three memories of martyr abbas babaei

Abbas prays very calmly . At times when he had more leisure, he would repeat the verse “Eyak Nabd and Eyak Nasta’in” seven times with tears in his eyes. I remember he fasted completely from the age of eight. He was so sensitive to the month of Ramadan that he adjusted his travels and missions so as not to cause the slightest harm to his fast. He always says his prayers at the first time and encouraged us to say the first time prayers

According to rahyafte (the missionaries and converts website):  My acquaintance with the  Martyr Abbas Babaei dates back to the time when I was working in Isfahan as the head of the electricity department. In those days, Babaei was always looking for a way to serve the people. He always sought to visit the surrounding villages to get acquainted with the problems of the people and to serve. On one of these trips, we went to a village that had no sanitation . Babaei asked the people of that village what their needs were, and at a short distance he built a bath for them with his own expense. He also provided electricity for them . (Narrator: Mohammad Hossein Sadeghzadeh)

During his studies, he goes to school in the middle of the night, before the morning adhan , to help his old schooljanitor, who has back and leg pain, and cleans the classrooms and the yard, and returns home. Long after, the school janitor and his wife doubt that the jinn will come to help them ! Once , in the middle of the night, they see “Abbas” cleaning the yard with a broom.

He always says his prayers at the first time and encouraged us to say the first time prayers. I will not forget, the last time he came to our house, his words were more pleasant than the previous days. One of his sayings that day was: When the morning adhan comes, after performing ablution, stand towards the qibla and say: O God! Put your hand on my head and do not take it until tomorrow morning.

I jokingly asked him why. He replied: “If the hand of God is on our heads, Satan can never deceive us.”

From that day until now, this statement of Abbas has been repeated in my ear involuntarily. (Narrator:Aqdas Babaei)
