An anecdote from Imam Hassan’s (A.S.) about his respected mother Lady Fatima Zahra (A.S.)

Imam Hassan Mojtaba (a.s.) says One night – a Friday night – my mother started to perform prayers and prayed until morning; until dawn. My mother prayed from the beginning of the night to the morning and supplicated to God

According to Rahyafte (the missionaries and converts website): Imam Hassan (a.s.) says—according to the narrations—I heard her constantly praying for all the faithful; praying for people; praying for the public affairs of the Islamic world. In the morning I asked her, “Oh mother! My mother! you prayed the whole night, you prayed for everybody but you didn’t pray for yourself!” She answered, “My son, first the others, and then ourselves!” this shows how elevated her spirit was”.
