According to Rahyafte (the missionaries and converts website):

A German national took his Shahadah today at the Holy Shrine of Imam Reza (AS) by the help of scholars under the banner of Astan Quds Razawi. The following text below is a small statement that he made after his Shahadah.

“My first time in Iran was two years ago. I got experienced the religion of Islam the holy cities of Qom and Mashhad. I GOT VERY IMPRESSED and more interested in this religion. After this experience, I studied a lot personally and also in my university which helped me to get more experiences. Together with my experiences in Christianity, which I followed in my childhood, I could create my own view on religion in general. But especially in Islam, I have felt a special and different energy, true belief and faith. In my opinion many people, especially in the Western world, have lost their spirituality and aim in their lifetime. I hope that God helps me to find this happiness again and I can find khosnudi and modesty.

Now I am a student in Iran and live in a Muslim country. I felt ready to do this step forward.”

We welcome our brother in faith and send our salutations to the Holy Prophet and his holy Progeny for such a blessed occasion for us all at the Holy Shrine.
