Islamic Revolution Leader, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei highlighted the issue of administration and introducing the model of the Islamic administration as great lessons of the Ghadir event (the day when the Noblest Messenger of Allah Hazrate Mohammad (PBUH) appointed Imam Ali (AS) as his successor) and said,” Shii school by preserving its bright and valid beliefs about the Ghadir event would not let the belief turn into difference and discord in the Islamic world.”
He congratulated the Ghadir feast to the Iranian faithful nation and all Muslim nations and said that the Islamic Ummah would move in the right path through understanding the message of Ghadir.
“The issue of introducing Imam Ali (AS) as successor by Hazrate Mohammad’s (PBUH) in the last days of his life indicated the importance of administration and unity of religion and politics. The whole Islamic Ummah needs this great lesson today,” Ayatollah Khamenei added.
The IR Leader termed explication of the model of the Islamic administration as another lesson of the Ghadir event saying that introducing Imam Ali (AS) as successor by Hazrate Mohammad’s (PBUH) was not a mere historical memory for Muslims but it offered the necessary criteria for governing the Islamic and human communities.
Ayatollah Khamenei said that loving God, non-stop endeavors in the divine path, sacrifice for the sake of truth, resistance against the enemies, paying no attention to the material perspectives of the life and humbleness towards the poor were great characteristics of Imam Ali (AS).
“The Ghadir event teaches the Islamic Ummah that those who follow Imam Ali’s (AS) way should handle the Islamic communities. This is a new and fresh message of the Islamic Revolution for the humanity in the current world,” the IR Leader said.
Ayatollah Khamenei hailed Imam Ali (AS) as the great student of the Noblest Messenger of Allah Hazrate Mohammad (PBUH) in all fields saying that the big poverty of the human society was lack of great politicians which was introduced by Islam in the Ghadir event.
Pointing to different understanding by Sunni and Shii followers about the Ghadir event, the IR Leader said,” However Sunni and Shii followers are unanimous about happening of the event and greatness of Imam Ali’s personality. All Islamic Ummah recognize him as the symbol of knowledge, piety and braveness.”
The IR Leader urged for vigilance of Sunni and Shii followers against different discords adding that deep belief in Imamte of Imam Ali (AS) is the main pillar of the Shii sect and in spite of all cruelties and enmities Shiis have preserved this belief and other bright teachings and will do this in the future But they would not allow that the belief turn into difference and discord in the Islamic world.
Pointing to Imam Khomeini’s constant efforts and the Islamic Revolution against sowing discord among Muslims, Ayatollah Khamenei said that the world arrogance which was suffering from unity of Muslims, have appealed to religious prejudice as the best way for sowing discord among Muslims and separating the heat of Muslims from the Islamic Revolution and we should be cautious and vigilant against these plots.
The IR Leader said that the enemy has spent huge money for sowing discord among Muslims adding,” We know that an arrogant-related center supports financially publishing anti Sunni and Shii books. Isn’t it an alert to Muslims?”
The IR Leader said that publishing such anti Sunni and Shii books would be at serve of America and the Zionism and underlined that these books would make no Shii convert into Sunni sect and no Sunni would be attracted by these books.
“Issuance of some books based on logical reasoning as the Shii Uleam did is good but if somebody supposes that they could defend Shii teachings through backbiting Sunni followers they should know they are sowing discord among Muslims. This task is not defending Velayat but defending America and the Zionists,” Ayatollah Khamenei said.
Pointing to the aliens’ efforts to force the Arab states to stand against the IRI’s nuclear rights and the Iranian nation’s other rights, the IR Leader said,” This is the maximum move of the enemy. However the Arab states have their especial considerations and are not ready to serve America and the Zionists completely for the sake of opposing Iran.”
Ayatollah Khamenei added that if the Iranian and other Muslim nations maintain their vigilance against the arrogance, it could not achieve its hostile goals for weakening the Islamic Ummah.
